When we consult with clients or potential clients, the first thing we teach is that there is a market for your product or service online. It may be miniscule, but the size of the market can be quantified and it is up to you to decide if the potential ROI is worth the investment. Because the market already exists, you don’t have to create it and you don’t have to build it. So when you are thinking about doing your next direct mail campaign to several thousand households in your area, why would you want to waste money on people who may not need or want your product? Why not spend money sending a need-answering solution to people already looking for one? Just some food for thought.
